Polly Sattler Receives EarthShare Georgia’s 2021 Volunteer of the Year Award

“I have a deep commitment and passion for making the world more sustainable. My professional work is focused on sustainability, but I believe the work of EarthShare Georgia, Flint Riverkeeper and other nonprofits is vital to bringing about education and change,” says Polly Sattler. Polly was recently awarded EarthShare Georgia’s 2021 Volunteer of the Year Award for her dedication to the organization almost since its founding in 1992.

Polly has been an EarthShare Georgia board member, offered her leadership and assistance with both live and online auctions, made connections to corporate partners, coordinated the 2019 Fall Volunteer Day on the Flint River and opened her home for our annual Wine Party. Most importantly, over these decades, she has shown a deep commitment to EarthShare Georgia’s member organizations and Georgia’s environment.
